07/2011: Axel Mayer reinforces KOCH Robotersysteme München
To further improve our customer service in southern Germany, Axel Mayer joined KOCH Robotersysteme München GmbH & Co. KG on 1 July 2011 to reinforce the Munich-based sales office with his engineering expertise. Jan-H. Röseler and Axel Mayer are thus the contact partners within easy reach serving the German postal zones 7, 8 and 9 as well as Austria and Switzerland. "With Axel joining the office we can optimise our availability and harness our know-how and skills," says Jan-H. Röseler, together with Ulli Koch, Managing Director of KOCH Robotersysteme München. Axel had already been working for KOCH Robotersysteme since 2009 as the sales partner at the former area representative awima engineering GmbH, and he will still be available for customers and prospects, now even more than before.

07/2011: KOCH Robotersysteme continuing to expand
Increase in new orders:
After 2010 saw the largest number of orders in the company's history, a further increase was achieved in the first six months of 2011, with the new orders received in the first two quarters 180% higher than the three-monthly plans. This unprecedented level of business can mainly be attributed to our standard palletising systems PalletSystems. The spectrum of these standard palletising cells for boxes, trays and many other types of containers ranges from inexpensive compact to high-performance systems handling over 6,000 packaging units per hour. The orders came primarily from the consumer goods, food, chemical and converting sectors, but also from the automotive industry.
Construction of the new assembly shop 2:
Construction work for the new KOCH assembly shop 2 began at the end of March. Greater capacities are necessary because it is not only our order-book figures which are continually increasing but also the dimensions of the tailor-made, complete filling, packaging and order-picking lines which our customers order. And to ensure that in the future we can continue to satisfy the most exacting standards and can put every single robot system including all their special features through their paces in the KOCH assembly shops before they leave our premises, we are extending the area available by 1,200 sqm to create sufficient space for production, assembly and quality tests. The extension is scheduled to be completed in the autumn of 2011.
