interpack SURPASSES EXPECTATIONS

SATISFIED VISITORS

AT THE LARGEST PACKAGING FAIR SO FAR

In the many years we have already exhibited at the interpack in Düsseldorf, the mood in the halls has rarely been so positive, the contacts so productive and the order volumes so high. From 24 to 30 April a total of some 179,000 visitors eagerly learnt all about the innovations in the international packaging industry. And they did that on an exhibition area which had grown in size, for the interpack took up the entire space the Düsseldorf Trade Fair Centre has to offer.

The marvellous atmosphere was not only tangible; it was visible too: in spite of the numerous staff manning the KOCH stand it was regularly verging on its maximum capacity. What was striking was the international character of the knowledgeable visitors and their freedom and scope for making decisions. "There was also clear evidence of the increasing interest in complete filling and packaging lines", says Reinhard Koch, the firm's founder and together with Ulli Koch, co-managing director of the Dernbach-based headquarters. "With our 30 years of experience we were as usual able to devise promising solutions right at our stand for many customers and prospects with specific needs. The presentations KOCH has given at fairs have shown time and time again that our portfolio is exactly what the market wants. There just can't be a better reference than satisfied customers."

Yet again the KOCH stand thus became a magnet for specialists from the sectors food and beverages, chemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetics, consumer goods (non-food), confectionery and bakery products, and also manufactured goods. Our team at the fair were happy to tell the visitors to our stand all about the competitive advantages to be gained by using KOCH filling, packaging and picking systems. 2 applications we had at the fair vividly demonstrated what flexible robot systems can do today and what tomorrow's world promises.

"The decision-makers identified the trends in the industry a long time ago and would now like to safeguard their competitive edge for the future with our high-availability and flexible automation systems. We guarantee each customer the optimum solution for his individual requirements", notes Jan-H. Röseler, manager of the firm KOCH Robotersysteme München GmbH & Co. KG.

The seven-day interpack fair saw the KOCH team strengthening existing contacts, establishing new business connections and accelerating investment decisions by major companies. "The development in the market is very encouraging at the moment, as we can plainly tell from the extremely good business coming in since the fair", is how Ulli Koch sums it up. "Our participation at the next interpack in Düsseldorf from 12 – 18 May 2011 is already fixed."
